Academic Deputyship

The Scientific Deputyship is like the beating heart of the body of the Imam Qutaybah bin Sa’id (RA) Religious Community, and it serves as the most crucial scientific post and the core of the teaching and scholarly activities of the professors. The training of committed, specialized, and skilled cadres, as well as the pursuit of the peaks of progress, excellence, independence, and self-sufficiency, depend on their efforts. The very existence of all this organizational structure and expenses is justified by this mission.

In general, the Scientific Deputyship is responsible for formulating educational policies for professors in order to standardize teaching practices, guide and oversee academic conferences, staff inclusion, academic promotion, capacity building, and the scientific development of professors through organizing workshops and scientific seminars. It is also tasked with arranging agendas and following up on the decisions of the Academic Council, providing guidance and oversight on the curricula and programs of graduates, as well as the bachelor's and master's programs of the esteemed scholars. Furthermore, it oversees matters related to higher education and academic exams, staff inclusion exams, the appointment and dismissal of professors in the Imam Qutaybah bin Sa’id (RA) Religious Community, and ensures the implementation of laws, regulations, bylaws, and resolutions in order to achieve academic goals and other assigned duties according to bylaws and regulations.

The establishment of the Scientific Deputyship of the Imam Qutaybah bin Sa’id (RA) Religious Community includes the Directorate of Graduate Affairs, the Directorate of Scientific Research, the Directorate of Specializations, and the Directorate of Quality Enhancement and Accreditation.

Mission:

The production of specialized and professional knowledge, the transfer and development of up-to-date specialized knowledge, and the training of committed and skilled cadres through market-oriented theoretical and practical standard-based education are key objectives of this scientific institution. These goals will be achieved through the enhancement of the capacity of specialized Islamic academic staff and a sound Islamic management system, ultimately leading to the attainment of necessary welfare and self-sufficiency.
